Mistral WineCards
A tactile wine education system. Designed in Seattle. Built for real wine moments.
Mistral WineCards is a 55-card deck that turns complex wine concepts into clear, usable knowledge. Each card covers a grape, region, soil, structure concept, or tasting skill. The design is consistent across the deck so the cards work together as a reference system.
Use them at home with friends. Use them behind the bar for a pre-shift huddle. Use them at the counter when a customer asks about Barolo. Use them in a WSET study group when flashcards stop working.
Deck ONE: Global is the foundation. Regional and focused packs will expand the system over time, designed to work alongside what you already own.
Founder note
Mistral is built by Seth Cysewski, a WSET Level 3 educator (Distinction) with 20 years across wine production, distribution, brand marketing, and hospitality. Seth has led activations, rollouts, and partnership programs for brands including Antinori, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Stag's Leap, and Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. He has trained corporate wine programs for Google, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
Mistral is part of a broader wine education ecosystem Seth runs under Wine with Seth, including WineSchool, the Wine with Seth app, the WineWiki encyclopedia, and the WineChats podcast. The cards are the product you can hold. Everything else extends from there.
The Mistral is the strong, cool wind that flows down the Rhône Valley from the Alps to the Mediterranean. It shapes the vines. It shapes the wines. The name is a reminder that wine is shaped by forces larger than the bottle, and the cards are designed to make those forces visible.
Designed in the Pacific Northwest. Printed internationally with premium ink and stock. Every deck is built to be handled, not shelved.
