Founder note

Mistral came out of a very specific problem: my nightly routine turned into lying in bed explaining 60° vineyard slopes, tannin chains, and why Riesling is misunderstood — while my wife politely pretended to still be awake.

After 20+ years in wine, design, and hospitality, it was clear I needed a healthier outlet for all that pent-up wine enthusiasm.

So I built Mistral — a tactile deck that turns everything I love about grapes, regions, terroir, and winemaking into something visual, fun, and actually helpful.

Built for curious drinkers and pros alike, Mistral is here to make learning wine feel welcoming — and worth keeping.
